Nightly Rate: $55 USD
Not a huge campground but was quite and roomy. Wish they would put up dog doo bags and trash cans throughout the grounds. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA Journey in a Fifth Wheel.

- Good Life Highway We didn't explore anything here as it was just a stopover. The biggest tip I have is that if you are traveling west through Shreveport on Highway 20, be ready for terrible roads! We drive a Ram 3500 dually which rides a little rough anyway, but I've never experienced roads like that. Our TV shook free off the wall and shattered on the floor. Numerous cabinets came open that never have before. There is a bypass around downtown Shreveport, but I have no idea if that road is better. The biggest issue we had was that the electric plug was burned and damaged. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA Journey in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
Should probably have someone inspect sites between visitors.

Pros- Staff very friendly, nice full timers
Cons- needs some serious maintenance on roads, sites, etc. Very neglected. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA Journey in a Travel Trailer.
