Tip for Other Campers:
Some good restaurants within 30 mins. Orlandeauxs - busy place go early Flying Heart- our favorite. Pizza is great and so are wings. Seventh Tap had very good beer and seltzers they make. I had Ginger and Lavender lemon. Seltzers Both good.

Tips from campers about Shreveport / Bossier City KOA Journey
- Good Life Highway We didn't explore anything here as it was just a stopover. The biggest tip I have is that if you are traveling west through Shreveport on Highway 20, be ready for terrible roads! We drive a Ram 3500 dually which rides a little rough anyway, but I've never experienced roads like that. Our TV shook free off the wall and shattered on the floor. Numerous cabinets came open that never have before. There is a bypass around downtown Shreveport, but I have no idea if that road is better. A few reviews from people with big rigs (40 feet)said they bottomed out coming in/out of entrance due to steep bump at entrance. Has this been addressed? (our motorhome is 44 ft tow)...

“Nice campground ”
Nightly Rate: $55 USD
Not a huge campground but was quite and roomy. Wish they would put up dog doo bags and trash cans throughout the grounds. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA Journey in a Fifth Wheel.
