Tip for Other Campers:
Definitely try Segnette Landing Restaurant just outside the park! Also, if heading into New Orleans, drive to Algiers Point, park on street (free), and take the inexpensive 5 minute ferry across the river!

Tips from campers about Bayou Segnette State Park
- Katrocks Mexican restaurant on corner was good. Piggly Wiggly was a short drive and had everything we needed. However, nothing much to do in area. Mostly business/factories.3 days ago Autumn Lake RV Park
- Rescueridersawyer There is a little Mexican restaurant right around the corner. Thats absolutely delicious, theres a historical monument 10 miles south. Tip for Other Campers:
If your planning to attend Mardi Gras there is a ferry at Algiers Point that will take you across the river into the French Quarter for only $2. There is unattended pay parking lot by the ferry but it can fill up during peak times
