Tips from campers about Winnsboro, LA
- Retired Life 2018 -The Crowbar restaurant and Saloon is about 2 minutes down the road. Food was very good. Quite possibly the coldest beer Ive ever been served. -We rented a Jeep in Furnace Creek to do some of the off road sights. Some of the paths cal for high clearance, short wheelbases. Realistically, my 4x4 truck would have been fine. Roads are rough and bouncy, just slow down.2 months ago Shoshone RV Park
- YouMeandWhiskey Check out Death Valley Brewing at Tacopa Springs and the China Farm Date Farm (warning - the drive in is a bit rough). The food at the Crowbar Cafe was good. Stroll up the hill from there and check out Dublin Gulch and the cemetery.3 months ago Shoshone RV Park
- AutumnOwlz Definitely see Death Valley NP. It is amazing. Highly recommend the restaurant at Stovepipe Wells. I had the best turkey sandwich. Sliced right off the bird and thick! Yum! Head to Nevada on 127 to get diesel for $3 less per gallon than in Shoshone or Death Valley.9 months ago Shoshone RV Park
