“Close to 5 Stars but not quite.”

This campground has a lot of positives - beautiful lake with swimming, swimming pool, amusement room, etc. There are two negatives - the dog park is just dirt surface and the dump station can be a...

“Gem of a place”

Great little campground. Very well run, with a manager on site and daily maintenance throughout the day. Guessing that sites are 70% seasonal (everyone we met was friendly). There are not too many...

There are a number of places in Dover, South Berwick, and Portsmouth, but a nice place closeby is Johnsons steak and seafood in North Berwick, as is Local Yolks in Berwick.
Tips from campers about Beaver Dam Campground
- Capt Gerry The battlefield is the primary attraction here. The Delta Explorer offers several different tours. We enjoyed the 3-hour tour of the rivers and Port of Mobile. The campground is about 8 miles from Spanish Fort, where you can find Walmart, Lowes, Harbor Freight, Tractor Supply and other shopping/dining opportunities. Sams Club is another couple of miles in Daphne, Al. Mobile and Gulf shores are close as well and offer lots to do.3 weeks ago Blakeley State Park
- Walden Wanderers #1) We had a tasty seafood lunch at the Original Oyster House on the causeway between Mobile and Spanish Fort. About a 10 minute drive from the park. #2) Wilson's Service Center, on Spanish Fort Blvd, will refill propane tanks.4 weeks ago Blakeley State Park
- Mojates & Mia Fuel all along the route to get here and lots of restaurants and grocery stores.1 month ago Blakeley State Park

Nightly Rate: $70 USD
We parked our travel trailer here for 4 days / 3 nights, while visiting with family vacationing in York. Much more reasonable pricing than campgrounds in York, and the 35-minute drive was worth the...

25 Minute drive to Ogunquit, busy little town with multiple restaurants/bars and souvenir shops.

We love this campground, and have stayed many times. It is very clean, and generally quiet. We love its convenience to the Maine Coast, and access to good kayaking in local rivers. We camped at...

“Lovely quiet well kept park”
Nightly Rate: $75 USD
We stayed in campsite 4 on pond, nice size site, great sunsets, quiet and relaxing, not a far drive to Kennebunk, wells, old Orchard Beach. We camped at Beaver Dam Campground in a Travel Trailer.
