Firewood available on site by the cart-full. Grocery store is just a few minutes down the road for re-stocking (even had fresh fish). - -Mark- Firewood available on site by the cart-full. Grocery store is just a few minutes down the road for re-stocking (even had fresh fish). The Downeast Mexican is a couple of min drive if youre craving some good Mexican food. It is about 1 hr to get to Acadia National Park from here however. Cadillac Mountain alone is worth it. The east side of Jordan Pond offers a very easy and mostly flat hike. To do the full loop is a little more challenging as the west side does have some boulder scrambling. But if you can manage the short boulder scramble section, youll be rewarded with a beautiful and long boardwalk hike. If youre up for something more challenging, Beehive might be your jamEven just driving through the park is stunning enough.
