“Pit toilets spoiled an acceptable campground”
Nightly Rate: $42 USD
Pit toilets. These really make using the showers etc a miserable experience. Be aware the price has an added reservation fee for some reason. Sites have plenty of space and enough privacy. I...

“Nice campground but beware of chickens”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Campground had big sites and a very clean shower house. Owners were very friendly but they have free range chickens & ducks. Which normally isn't a problem until you put them in a campground. We had...

- Karen Norton Gulf Hagas Gorge - great views about 2.5 miles in. Pretty easy flat hike with some boards in place to help you traverse the low places. the last .5 miles is over large rocks and not something I would recommend for little ones. Easy places to slip with nothing to stop you, but for cautious adults the views are worth the climbing over the rocks.6 months ago Moosehead Family Campground
- Ingine Eagle Rock trail was challenging with lots of moose scat and tracks but saw no moose or people. Also enjoyed the Little Moose Pond trail and Little Wilson Falls trail. We did a 35 minute sea plane ride with Currier's and had a blast.7 months ago Moosehead Family Campground
- OUR MOVING CASTLE Check the Appalachian Trail Visitor Center in Monson, Maine for the latest data on hiking the AT. For a new dining experience visit the Crepe Cafe on the lakeshore in downtown Greenville, sweet and savory crepes.2 years ago Moosehead Family Campground

“Small campground with a state park feel.”
Nightly Rate: $42 USD
This campground was on the smaller side but had loads of trees and good separation between the sites. This is more like a state park campground than an RV resort. The bath house is tiled and clean and...

“Private Campsite”
Nightly Rate: $47 USD
We could hear our neighbors but could not see them. It's very much a state park/COE feel. The owners were friendly and informative. We were able to do lots of trails and activities. We wished we would...
