“A Resort, Not a Trailer Park”
Nightly Rate: $33 USD
This large park plus golf course and driving range has lots of things for children, including a swimming pool. We had no problems with our sites on previous visits but drew a very unlevel location,...

Tip for Other Campers:
The nearby city has big box stores of every kind and many good restaurants. Dont miss seeing the Bore, a twice-daily phenomenon when a wall of water (some natives surf it) comes rushing in at the change of tides. Its best seen at Bore Park, a downtown viewing site with bleachers.
“Jumping Off Spot Near Canadian Border”
Nightly Rate: $68 USD
The camp was called My Brothers Place before it was taken over by a KOA franchisee. A pool, playground and several premium sites with gravel have been added. The rest of the spots are grass and some...

Tip for Other Campers:
Houlton is five miles from the Canadian border. The last Walgreens is near the camp. Andys groceries across the street from the drug store had the largest inventory of any IGA we ever saw, including liquor. Theres an Advanced Auto store downtown.

Nightly Rate: $45 USD

Tip for Other Campers:
The High Tide restaurant in nearby Bremer was noisy and busy on a Friday night, with so-so country music. The authors prime rib was doused with au jus despite my request to avoid. We had a river view from a closed-in porch.
“See the Saint John River”
Nightly Rate: $63 USD
Its hard to find a spot without a view of the Saint John River in this modern park. A jogging path parallels the river and theres also mini-golf, canoe and kayak rentals. Campers get a pass to the...
