We stayed here for a week in site 31 with the camp hosts next door. I immediately saw their dogs laying outside on leashes as we backed in. They both looked up at us and laid back down without a...

Tips from campers about Pine Grove Campground and Cottages
- Ritethru Murrell inlet is has great restaurants off the strip4 weeks ago Pirateland Family Campground
- Larry-2458 There are plenty of things to do in the Myrtle Beach area. This campground is located south of the city and more suburban than city area. Limited attractions in this area but is close to the main city area. Plenty of eateries within easy drive and the highlight is the seafood restaurants in the area. Be selective some are much better than others and many run an all you can eat buffets. Further up the road are plenty of things to do nearer the city and in the city area itself. Typical beach town with a boardwalk area and shops for tourist activities. The beaches are clean and usually in good condition. The area is tourist friendly, many entertainment events occur during summer months when more crowds are there. Enjoy the visit.6 months ago Pirateland Family Campground
- MyrBeach1 Walmart Neighborhood Market about half a mile away caters to the campgrounds. Five miles to downtown Myrtle Beach. Great seafood in Murrells Inlet about 7 miles south.6 months ago Pirateland Family Campground

“Not a KOA resort but is a great campground. ”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
The campground is fairly rustic but that gives it a lot of charm. We stayed in September so it wasn't packed. Was very quiet. Camp hosts were super nice. They had 2 very friendly dogs, didn't even...

Tip for Other Campers:
Groceries are a good drive away. There's an awesome Amish farm on route 11 north about 30 minutes or so that has great prices on vegetables, cookies, jams and other things. All so delicious as well. Keep eye out for their sign, wish I took better directions of it.
“Trees and laid back for the soul.”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
The park is approximately four Miles off highway 157 in Medway. Shady all around and not good for Starlink but the park's WiFi did okay. Have a tv lounge with free coffee and couches if you needed to...

Tip for Other Campers:
Give yourself almost an hour to get to Baxter State Park Ranger entrance. Then it's about another half hour to the two nearest hubs with trails. The little town of Millinocket Has grocery stores and hardware stores. About 20 minutes from the campsite. Traffic is slow through all the towns on 157.

“Lots of Trees For Shade and Maneuvering”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
This is a campground that truly represents its name of Pine Grove. Tons of tall pines that provide a lot of tree canopy - but you also need to maneuver around them - which can be a challenge in a...
