“They sold most of the campground to Carolina Shores.”
Nightly Rate: $68 USD
I have always loved pirateland but it is getting a little run down. Carolina Shores has repaved all roads and parking lots. They own the pool and all the buildings except the registration building....

“Nothing worth mentioning ”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Probably would've been nice to have been actually looked at the campground map and given us a better site, given we came to stay with friends. We camped at Pirateland Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about Pirateland Family Campground
- Duane C Lots of restaurants and stores and things to do.1 week ago Pirateland Family Campground
- Ritethru Murrell inlet is has great restaurants off the strip1 month ago Pirateland Family Campground
- Larry-2458 There are plenty of things to do in the Myrtle Beach area. This campground is located south of the city and more suburban than city area. Limited attractions in this area but is close to the main city area. Plenty of eateries within easy drive and the highlight is the seafood restaurants in the area. Be selective some are much better than others and many run an all you can eat buffets. Further up the road are plenty of things to do nearer the city and in the city area itself. Typical beach town with a boardwalk area and shops for tourist activities. The beaches are clean and usually in good condition. The area is tourist friendly, many entertainment events occur during summer months when more crowds are there. Enjoy the visit.6 months ago Pirateland Family Campground
