Tip for Other Campers:
Just a bit down the road is a lovely (still active) light house surrounded by a park with a small museum. There is a great crafts store in town as well as a well-appointed independent grocery store. Of course, lots of great seafood in the area! I highly recommend the ferry to Monhegan Island for a day trip.

Tip for Other Campers:
Leveling ramps or blocks may be needed. Beautiful quiet location. See the pemequid lighthouse, no parking charge after 6 pm. Free parking on left side at gift shop/ restaurant and ice cream store. Good breakfast at the restaurant next to light house. Damariscotta is about 15 minutes. Hanford grocery store there.

Tip for Other Campers:
Lighthouse is only 1 1/2 miles. Moodys Diner about 30 minutes away had great breakfast. Sea Gull restaurant at Lighthouse was good and BYOB.

“Nice quiet campground”
Nightly Rate: $75 USD
Nice classic campground. We were in campsite 32 which was at the rear of the property and was very quiet. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
