Many hiking trails throughout the park, well marked. So many lakes to explore. Bring your canoe, kayak or fishing boat. Waters are very clean and crystal clear. Many spots to pull over, accessible docks and launching areas. Playgrounds and beaches for families. Pet friendly.

Consider driving in on 367 or 366 from the south, we went the long way. All roads in Duck Mountain are gravel. Next closest is ½ hour away (north) in Minitonas Mb seems to be a town of 300 -500 people with a grocery
