Tips from campers about Teulon, MB
- SinclairTrails The Field of Dreams Movie Site is everything we'd hoped it would be. I highly recommend going on one of the "Ghost Game" days during the summer; it made the whole thing even more special. We also drove to Cedar Rapids to see a Kernels (high-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins) game, which was also good fun.7 months ago Riverview Ridge Campground
- MEdwardR The Dubuque River Walk and adjacent National Mississippi River Museum are excellent. Historic Galena street walking was OK, but we probably should have avoided Saturday. The "Field of Dreams" in Dyersville is very good if you are a fan of the movie and baseball. However, there are some quirks to visiting. The location has no entry fee but there is a gate tender who kind of expects a $20 per person "donation" upon entry. We did not make a donation as we had already prepaid $45 for the "House" tour. The gate tender was very snarky in tone with our "bad behavior" (Well, OK, THANKS for visiting!") but we entered anyway. That tone left a bit of a bad taste on the visit.9 months ago Riverview Ridge Campground
