“Quiet and Serene - A Hidden Gem”
Nightly Rate: $31 USD
This is a beautiful park with nice, large, flat, open spots. Very clean. Bathrooms were well maintained and clean. The Fall is the perfect time of year here. It was less than 50% full, fall foliage...

Tip for Other Campers:
There's not much in the area of Pocomoke and Snow Hill. The downtown is quaint and nice to walk around the Main Street and waterfront area/park, but the cute shops close up early. Oak 110 has a good happy hour. We spent a good deal of time just walking trails in the park and enjoying the river.

Located near Snow Hill, Md, but close to Assateague, Ocean City, and Crisfield. We stayed in site 102 and this was a great spot, large with reasonable privacy and a slight uphill slope. We stayed in...

Tips from campers about Pocomoke River State Park, Shad Landing Area
- Asia & Yoshi Instructions to get to the RV park weren’t easy. Two choices to enter the RV park after turning left at the off-ramp (#2): 1). The first right is directly across from the I80 ramp just before the Casino and Sinclair station: Turn right and stay right along the outer edge to circle around the back parking lot for the casino (rather than going into the gas station). There are a number of speed bumps but they are straight across the lane, so go slow. There are “no trucks” signs but I believe that is for the Casino parking lot not for the RV resort entrance. There isn’t a sign directing you to take this entrance. 2) The second right is just past the casino and Sinclair station. This avoids the speed bumps but it is a narrow street with traffic exiting the Casino and Jack in the Box drive through. You may have to have someone hold up traffic in order to have enough room to make a wide turn down the street. There is a small sign on the far side of the entrance directing you to the RV resort.4 years ago Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort
- GKLott Verdi was always colder than Reno. Be careful of the I-80W exit, as it is VERY short.4 months ago Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort

“Trees Everywhere!”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
If there was a camping site without shade trees, I didn't see it. Not great for those of you that use Starlink for internet service, but it sure helped with the heat. Due to that heat, I didn't do...

“Nicely wooded”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
Stayed three nights in site 25 which is in the Acorn loop. The site was clean, and the pad was surprisingly level. Sites are nicely spaced and very shaded. There's plenty of places to go in the area -...

Get your firewood somewhere else other than the camp store - their wood is not very dry or seasoned.
