Off post nearby Anglers restaurant was good. Also in Solomon's during October has Patuxent River Appreciation Day which was very enjoyable.
Tips from campers about Solomons Island Navy Recreation Area
- Dtausky Until they put some funds toward repairing, we will discontinue visiting. call day 30 prior to visit and see if that a spots you want to stay. We enjoy the area and will find other camp grounds to stay at.

We went to the swimming pool, rode bicycles around the campground and played pickle ball on the tennis courts.
