“This campground is carved out of a dense forest. ”
Nightly Rate: $60 USD
We did a lot of looking at Google Earth to pick the one camp site where we could also watch DirecTV. K10 was our site. We camped at Wompatuck State Park in a Motorhome.

“Spacious, peaceful campground with lots of trails”
We took our RV there for family to use. There were lots of sites there with electric hookups. Our site was very handy for the communal water spigot, but other sites would require that you drive up to...

- RobertN Take mass transit into the city. The Braintree T (train/subway) station is about 20 min from the CG, and downtown is a 20 min train ride away. The ferry leaves from Hingham Shipyard, goes to Logan and Boston (aquarium/Long Wharf). www.mbta.com We chose a 7 day pass for unlimited train/bus rides, giving us some very welcome non-walking options after a long Freedom Trail day. The ferry was included in our 7 day transit pass (but call to verify).6 years ago Wompatuck State Park

“Very deep in the woods”
Nightly Rate: $23 USD
This is a beautiful campground. You are fully immersed in the forest. Sites are a little awkward. No water hook ups. Bathrooms aren't great We camped at Wompatuck State Park in a Travel Trailer.
