Tips from campers about Wells State Park
- Anna_Erishkigal Call before you book if you have a larger rig, ask the staff for guidance which slots are appropriate for your rig. Some of the side-road campsites have really tight spots to get a rig through, even though the spots themselves are huge and most are pull-through. There's also a hairpin curve on the paved ring-road which goes up the hill, so scope it out using Google Earth. Given the price, it's worth the extra effort. We had a great weekend stay at this park. Well-maintained, and the campsites were absolutely huge and super private. They let us set up a "kids tent" so we weren't all jammed into the pop-up camper....
