Verizon service is horrible FYI. My hotspot did us no good. We didn't go but there is a brewery and a winery in town, and a seafood place not too far from the camp....

“Great Beach Spot”

Great spot for beach camping. The campground has electric/ non-electric sites and a dump station. We camped at Horseneck Beach State Reservation Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nearby towns like Dartmouth are lovely, and lots of water and rocky beaches with islands visible in the distance. Really picturesque, with lots of natural (and New England-style) beauty, with stylish homesteads and park areas. New Bedford is a great spot for dining and playtime. Tip for Other Campers:
We took our bikes to Bayside Restaurant. The haddock sandwich was wonderful. And the roasted rhubarb salad special was large, fresh & delicious.Westport has very interesting history. Unfortunately we did not have time to explore....
