First time back to Horseneck Beach since visiting as a 12 yo - 60 years ago - great memories. Great spot for beach coming, fishing, hiking, and general relaxation. We camped at Horseneck Beach State...

Check out the"Healthy Trail" and Beachfront road. Dartmouth, Ma only 12 miles away - has everything you need. Ate lunch at the "Pig and Cask" delicious, friendly outside dining.
“Can't beat the location”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD

Tip for Other Campers:
Verizon service is horrible FYI. My hotspot did us no good. We didn't go but there is a brewery and a winery in town, and a seafood place not too far from the camp.

“Great Beach Spot”
Nightly Rate: $70 USD
Great spot for beach camping. The campground has electric/ non-electric sites and a dump station. We camped at Horseneck Beach State Reservation Campground in a Travel Trailer.
“Discolored Water and No Water at Sites”
Nightly Rate: $65 USD
There is no water hookup on any of the sites. There are a handful of community spigots. The staff advises that you fill onboard tanks on the way to your site. We had a half-tank of fresh water onboard...

Tip for Other Campers:
Nearby towns like Dartmouth are lovely, and lots of water and rocky beaches with islands visible in the distance. Really picturesque, with lots of natural (and New England-style) beauty, with stylish homesteads and park areas. New Bedford is a great spot for dining and playtime. Black Whale was a very good dining spot right by the fishing boats and...

Tip for Other Campers:
We took our bikes to Bayside Restaurant. The haddock sandwich was wonderful. And the roasted rhubarb salad special was large, fresh & delicious.
Westport has very interesting history. Unfortunately we did not have time to explore.
