“Wanted to see a sunset and I wasnt disappointed and Lake Superior put on a show also.”

We stayed in a tent site with our Rv 30 from the water. It was simply beautiful! We camped at Sunset Bay RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Be careful of pot holes when you turn in on dirt road to campground at entrance.
Go see A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum in Houghton, Mi just a few miles away. Fantastic specimens with history of mining in the area.

- BandD Metaline Falls is cute little town with a couple good eateries. Also ate at Western Star Bar and Grill in Metaline - great burgers and Philly steak sandwiches. Be sure to stop at Sweet Water Falls about 2 miles south of town, RV or car parking, picnic sites and 1/4 mile walk to falls, we especially liked the "upper" one and middle fork to see the series of falls. “Unique campground with different camping options.”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Lower sites are old style camping with ample space and parking options for your trailer. Good shade that overlook the lake. We camped at Sunset Bay RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Tip for Other Campers:
Good stop to go north to Copper Harbour, Calumet or Houghton.

“Not a very nice campground”
