Allegan is a small town with no big box stores but a full range of amenities. There are several attractions in the area and Lake Michigan is reasonably close with interesting towns along it's shores. K&J Allegan is a small town with no big box stores but a full range of amenities. There are several attractions in the area and Lake Michigan is reasonably close with interesting towns along it's shores. We ate at a restaurant downtown called Schaendorf Brewing Company. They raise their own cattle so the food was very good. Next year they will complete the brewery next door.
