- Sams Humans Holland MI is of course the place to visit, with a nice refurbished downtown area with shops, taverns, and restaurants. We visited the Neli's Dutch Village for a nice walk around. This place has things for the kids, but also shows, Dutch shops, including buying your own wooden shoes. We also visited the Grand Haven Coast Guard 100th year anniversary. This was a weeklong celebration with shows, demos, live music concerts, etc. Fireworks on the last night Wished we had known earlier, but we enjoyed the time.
