“Good location with easy access to Alpena, NOAA, shipwreck tours etc”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
Quite a few full time residents, some in not so well kept sites. All in all it was quiet, felt safe enough and the owner is friendly and on-site. We camped at Thunder Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Alpena, MI. Lots of community parks on Thunder Bay. Numerous, local shops, restaurants, and mini-malls. Two, national restaurant chains (Applebees, Cracker Barrel). Typical fast food (McD's, Arbys, etc). Landromat looked closed. Groceries at IGA or Meijers or Walmart. Fuel (diesel at $2.449). Banks. Two local theaters. Sports Unlimited RV (Jayco dealer)....
