- StephenK Alpena, MI. Lots of community parks on Thunder Bay. Numerous, local shops, restaurants, and mini-malls. Two, national restaurant chains (Applebees, Cracker Barrel). Typical fast food (McD's, Arbys, etc). Landromat looked closed. Groceries at IGA or Meijers or Walmart. Fuel (diesel at $2.449). Banks. Two local theaters. Sports Unlimited RV (Jayco dealer). Hardware stores. One VA outpatient clinic on North State Avenue. No Silver Sneakers. Mongo's Mexican highly recommended (but no alcohol).8 years ago Thunder Bay RV Park
