- DRadmach The dough-wrapped chicken, beef, or vegetarian options at Mr. Foisie's Pasties are a treat, and if you're there in the fall, the apple dumplings made with fresh Michigan apples are the bomb! Great for a fun traditional northern Michigan meal -- and break from outdoor cooking. Make sure to get over to the downtown area an soak in the logging town vibe of Cadillac, and check out Lake Mitchell, the larger twin of Lake Cadillac.
