Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Fayette Historic State Park, an old closed down town. We went weekend adventuring to Tahquamenon Falls State Park, Pictured Rocks Cruises, Whitefish Point, Big Springs (Kitch-iti-kipi). Nearest Walmart is in Escanaba (about an hour). Oh yeah, make sure to try the pasties at several different locations, Gram's was our favorite (pizza)....

Beautiful: Sites are not perfectly level but the views and location make up for that We camped at Bay Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is a fabulous restaurant (The Dock Bar & Grill) down a short pathway from the RV park. Food and drinks are excellent, as is the view of Lake Michigan! Parking lot is often packed. Fayette Historical Park is great - 20 well preserved historical buildings from 1867-1891 showing the steel industry. Kitchen-iti-kipi (Big Springs) is a fresh water spring...
