Nightly Rate: $20 USD
Very Very rough 1 1/4 mile road in and out, rougher than any on our Alaska trip. Nice park with playground, pond, and river. We were in the new 50 AMP section with large sites. Good dump station....

Under new ownership since last reviews. New owner is updating the facilities and making improvements. The seasonal campers are friendly and very nice. The owners are outstanding! I will stay here...

Tips from campers about River Park Campground
- Ranjr Plenty of trails to take leashed dogs on - we did river walk trail (1.6mi) and was good for our senior dog. Staff helpful at checkin. All roads perfect condition throughout park.3 weeks ago Sam Houston Jones State Park

Has a very nice pond & walking to the river. People extra nice. You can tell they care about you & make you feel welcome. We camped at River Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Very clean. They have a great stocked trout pond. The owner is very friendly as are the seasonals. Open all year. Great trails for walking, snowmobiling,& ATV's right from the campground. We camped...
