So much to do in this area. Copper Harbor is the northern tip of US-41. A cute harbor town with hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, little shops. Fort Wilkins is a mid-1800s fort. Visited the Copper Center area and drove along shore of Lake Superior. Beautiful area.
Tips from campers about McLain State Park
- Katrocks Mexican restaurant on corner was good. Piggly Wiggly was a short drive and had everything we needed. However, nothing much to do in area. Mostly business/factories.3 days ago Autumn Lake RV Park
- Rescueridersawyer There is a little Mexican restaurant right around the corner. Thats absolutely delicious, theres a historical monument 10 miles south.
