“Great place if you are looking to play golf”
Nightly Rate: $49 USD
This is a small RV park with an attached golf course (nice). The sites are concrete and fairly level, pretty close together. Nothing special, but good for the price. We camped at Thunder Bay Golf &...

Tips from campers about Thunder Bay Golf & RV Resort
- Barry and Paula Interstate 395 is about a 10 minute drive away. Heading north on 395 there are markets (Aldi and Stop and Shop) and a variety of other shops in Dayville, CT. Pretty much any needs could be satisfied. Travel Route 6 west, take a left onto Route 12 where you will find a Big Y supermarket in Killingly, CT. Bring your own bags! Great market with a varied selection. There is the Foster Country Club right by the campground for the golfing crowd and also a restaurant on the premises.4 years ago Colaluca Family Campground
- Teddi2 We visited many of the sites in Newport (about 1 hour) including the Tennis Hall of Fame, The Breakers, Marblehouse, The Cliff Walk, and drive along Ocean Drive. Spectacular scenery. We also visited beautiful Rogers Williams Park in Providence (about 45 minutes).4 years ago Colaluca Family Campground
- Lukem915 Drive 30 minutes to go to providence and you will have a blast. If you love seafood, go to iggys in Warwick, you won’t regret it.4 years ago Colaluca Family Campground

“Nice Quiet Park”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
We stayed here for fourteen weeks to avoid the summer heat elsewhere. The park has asphalt sites and grass. There are no amenities like a bathhouse, laundry, etc. The park is meant for self-contained...

“Nice RV park on a Golf Course”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Really nice RV Park with a golf course. Very quiet and clean. Sites are long enough for our rv and a 12 ft trailer and did not need to disconnect. The sites are paved and pretty spacious. There was a...

Tip for Other Campers:
We went to several towns that are about an hour or less from the campgrounds. I highly suggest Alpena if you like to walk around the towns. We went to Petosky and Harbor springs to ride our motorcycles on the trail of trees, Mackinaw City (two expensive and very busy), Rogers City (stop and purchase meats at Phath's meat market, the bacon is awesome and go...

“Clean beautiful golf course ”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Very clean well maintained grounds but no kid activities if you have little ones. Mostly for retired campers who enjoy a game of golf. We camped at Thunder Bay Golf & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We did the Alpena Shipwreck tour and it was amazing to see. The museum is free and the tour was reasonably priced.
