Tip for Other Campers:
The Lake Leelanau peninsula has the best wineries, our favorite was Bluestone Vineyards just up the road a bit. Wonderful apple orchards too! Great location to see Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Traverse City.

My husband and I didn't have many expectations for the campground, but once we arrived all five started the cleanness, the details, the attention of the staff, the views to the lake. We just loved it....
