Tip for Other Campers:
Ludington State Park is a short drive. Hiking trails and beaches. Close to Stearns Park & Beach. Big public beach. Jamesport Brewing Co. Is a good restaurant in Downtown Ludington.

Tip for Other Campers:
The laundry room is brand new as well so theres only one washer & one dryer. And they only accept quarters (no cards & no change machine), but the staff has rolls of quarters on hand. Try the Pizza Joint right up the street! Chuck wagon!

Tip for Other Campers:
Lots of good food options. We did some shopping and had apps at the Ludington Meat Company. Great meat market, brats and cheese galore. We walked to the Big Sable Lighthouse and park, which was approximately 15 minutes from campground. Lots of shopping near site within short distance.

Tip for Other Campers:
Nice beach in town with causeway to a lighthouse. Ludington State park is close with another lighthouse and an area for tube floating. House of Flavors for ice cream.

Tip for Other Campers:
Bortells fishery, about five miles south of Ludington, a must. Fresh fish cooked while you wait, then outside to eat under the clear blue sky's at furnished pic nic tables....or take it back to camp. I had the smelt basket. The wife had cat fish.
