Close to town, free shuttle to ferry, nice sites. Too bad all of the KOAs cant be as good as this one. We camped at Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island KOA Journey in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Mackinaw IslandI and the downtown area. F you are into the night sky, the Dark Sky Territory Headlands is near by. We watched the northern lights there several years ago. There are several lighthouses in the area. Best grocery in the area is across the bridge (tolls!).

Question:
Trying to locate a place that may or may not exist from my childhood. We camped at MillCreek campground (I think, could have been KOA dad doesn't remember, and grandma has since passed). But there was a food spot (or restaurant) nearby where you could "fish for your lunch" I want to say it was trout or maybe catfish. Anyone have any suggestions on what or where that might have been? Maybe it closed up its doors.. Maybe it's in a different city or state altogether, lol.. Thankyou for helping me piece together a puzzle 25 years ago lol....
