Tip for Other Campers:
There is a nice tavern within walking distance where I had the best fish sandwich ever. Also, be sure to visit the Big Spring and ride the raft over it.

Kitch-iti-kipi is a must to see. Also see the town of Manistique and their great beaches and boardwalk that runs the entire length of the town on Lake Michigan.

Kitch-iti-kipi (the Big Spring) is a must-see, perhaps the most stunning site we've seen in the UP, with views of the natural spring through the bottom of a raft-style pontoon. Arrive by 10:00 a.m. During prime season to avoid the long line getting on the pontoon.

You can stumble out of your camper and fall into Palms Book State Park, home to Kitch-iti-kipi Big Springs, thats how close you are. You can go fishing in Indian lake, Rent a pontoon or kayak, play lawn games or relax by the pool. Plenty for the kids to do and pet friendly.
