“Great base for ORV riders”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Nice sites, plenty of room between your neighbor. On site bar\grill was good as well. Cell service is not available. They have WIFI in the park. Not good enough to stream unless the park is fairly...

“Large sites. Nice restaurant. ”

Nice campground. Very large sites. Very friendly staff. Primarily an ORV site, but very accommodating to RVers as well. The onsite restaurant is very convenient and the food is great. All facilities...

Conveniently located between Manistique and Munising. Many things to do in the area. Should check out Teddy the Troll and Spring Lake, for sure
Tips from campers about Jack Pine Lodge Campground
- KathyMcP This park has miles of paved hike/bike trails. We saw just a couple of other people on them during our stay. .5 miles away is an outstanding Air and Space Museum--the Strategic Air Command Museum. Senior price was $13, we spent 4 hours there. Also nearby is the Holy Trinity Shrine--a spectacular piece of architecture on the prairie. We went through the 14 Stations of the Cross, which were especially poignant since we know Jesus did all that for us. The chapel itself was closed that day because they are re-roofing it. It is a wonderful place of peace and contemplation. We went to Lincoln, which was a traffic zoo. Our tourist time was probably better spent anyway helping a young man with his car problems. So we opted out of going to Omaha--it seems the cities are going down. Ashland is near enough for fuel and light groceries. We also stocked up on food and got diesel fuel at Costco a bit farther.3 years ago Eugene T Mahoney State Park
- Warnockers Mahoney has a small number of "full hookup" sites and they fill up really quickly. They have a much larger number of electricity only sites (including the one that we stayed at - Site 54). A lot of their sites are NOT reservable. They are "walkup reservation" only. Typically, if you arrive on a Wednesday you will have no trouble getting whatever site you want. Thursday morning will bring a more limited selection and by Thursday evening it will be slim pickings.9 months ago Eugene T Mahoney State Park
- Bawn Lots to do in the area. SAC Museum and Wildlife Safari are next door. Lots do do in the park, too. For dinner, we suggest Parker's BBQ near Ashland.5 months ago Eugene T Mahoney State Park

“Nice park in National Forest”
Nightly Rate: $53 USD
Older park with a new section of campsites recently added. Site pads are gravel with good spacing between and are fairly level. Lots of sand and dirt so bring a broom! Roads are gravel and are pretty...

“Clean & quiet”
Nightly Rate: $53 USD
We stayed in the new section #58, which was a full hook up site1. Even though it's geared towards ORV riders, the guests with sxs's were respectful and quiet when coming & going. The historic...

“Nice clean park”

We stayed here for two nights. Site number 57. Level and plenty long enough. There is no phone service at all on Verizon. We got some internet sporadically on their Wi-Fi. We did get clear sky for our...
