“Beautiful sites on lake Superior. ”

Tips from campers about Ontonagon Township Park and Campground
- User5970 Porcupine Mountain State Park is close by. The historical museum visitor center is worth a visit. Syl's Cafe and Lucy's Cafe are very good. Can bike or walk to town if you desire. Connie's Café and the IGA rent videos to make up for the lack of TV.7 years ago Ontonagon Township Park and Campground
- Liv2RV Visit Porcupine Wilderness state park. Lake of the Clouds has spectacular views. 30 min away.
- MrRoadWarrior77 Great location to visit Porkies. Many waterfalls nearby. Drive 50 minutes to visit Bond and Agate falls which are beautiful and easy hikes. Campground Beach is average for Rock Hunting since its mostly sand on one end and shale on the east end of the campground we stayed. Smaller agates can be found. Our kids found a couple Yooperlites too which was a bonus. Playground is above average but at the west end of the park. A long haul for younger kids to visit by themselves. Visit Sybils for great Pizza. They also have a nice bakery for donuts, pies and cookies. Bakery sells donuts out fairly fast. Great area to visit.2 years ago Ontonagon Township Park and Campground

Nice little park, mostly shady sites. Strict rules on giving out lakeside sites. No reservations except day of arrival, call at 8 am and you can leave a message if no answer. We camped at Ontonagon...
