“A Great Place”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
This is a great place. We accidently were able to rent the HOST sight which has full hook-ups. All other spaces are $38 except weekends when the price goes up a bit. The State Park is right on Lake...

Tip for Other Campers:
Lots of good place to eat near by including The Farm and Anna B's and several light houses to see. Check out the ice cream in Grindstone. Miniature Golf at Sandy Hills. So many other places to visit within easy distance. We rode our non-electric bike....
“Port Crescent State Park has LOTS of sand!”
Nightly Rate: $38 USD
This was our first time at Port Crescent SP. We met my cousin and her husband there, who have been there before. We were on site #90 which was across from the beach access. Beautiful views of the...

Tip for Other Campers:
Our tip is to bring a flat edged shovel (and maybe even a leaf blower) so you can find your site pad under all the sand. We were there the day after Memorial Day and it was VERY hot. We drove to and walked around Port Austin and got ice cream at the Grindstone General Store. HUGE scoops of ice cream!! Very friendly staff. There are three lighthouses nearby:...

We drove to and walked around Port Austin and got ice cream at the Grindstone General Store. HUGE scoops of ice cream!! Very friendly staff. There are three lighthouses nearby: Port Austin Reef Light, Point Aux Barques Lighthouse and Harbor Beach Light. Port Austin, Port Hope, Caseville and Harbor Beach are cute towns. We ate at Lefty's Diner in Caseville (cute place) and Smally's in Harbor Beach. If you fish, bring your poles. They were catching bass like crazy!! Cell service (Verizon) was basically nonexistent and we had limited TV channels.2 years ago Port Crescent State Park

“Beautiful park but lots of bugs”
Nightly Rate: $38 USD
Nice beach for kids, clean bathrooms, many bugs. It got a little windy on the water but it was pretty nice at night. Hardly any ranger interaction. We camped at Port Crescent State Park in a Travel...

“This is one of our favorite Michigan State Parks! Spectacular Sunsets!”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
Port Crescent State park is right on Lake Huron. The water views and sunsets are phenominal. We have stayed here in one of the cabins before, but this is our first time in our RV. Sites are electric...

Tip for Other Campers:
I would try to get a site on the side where the water is rather than on the back side. There is a lot of road noise on the side with the hill near the road. There are not a lot of gas stations or places to get things here. Bring everything you need with you when you come....

This is one of Michigan's older parks, and it could really use an upgrade. Roads are narrow and in bad condition, and campsites are small and too close together. The location on Lake Huron and the...
