Tips from campers about Silver City, MI
- JCFPA Lintels has bears visit - maybe 6 mike drive. Bond Falls rivals Tahquamenon and is maybe an hour away. Presque Isle at the western end of the park is another great day trip.6 months ago Union River Big Bear Campground
- Sammy Davis This campground is in an ideal location and has a strong following. Keep in mind that campgrounds in the far north have a very short summer season due to cold spring and early cold fall weather and are only open for 4 to 5 months through the summer. These small businesses cannot afford have people play games with the reservation systems hogging sites by reserving several for long periods of time until they decide their exact dates and then cancelling the remaining nights at the last minute leaving the sites to potentially not get re-rented. Even the State Parks are complaining about this type of behavior and trying to find ways to dissuade people from doing it. A no refund policy is one way of preventing this situation. - Mgoblue62 Snag a swinging chair for the awesome sunsets on Lake Superior. Hosts make a campfire and campers gather for the sunset, very nice!7 months ago Union River Big Bear Campground
