Tip for Other Campers:
Lintels has bears visit - maybe 6 mike drive. Bond Falls rivals Tahquamenon and is maybe an hour away. Presque Isle at the western end of the park is another great day trip.

Snag a swinging chair for the awesome sunsets on Lake Superior. Hosts make a campfire and campers gather for the sunset, very nice!
Tips from campers about Union River Big Bear Campground
- shomemule Make sure to go to the nature Center and hike some of the trails in the Groton State Forest. There is also a rail trail that goes right past the park and can be accessed from the park by a connector trail.
