Campground was ok. Close to the river which is nice. Not many amenities for small children. Lots were spacious and mature trees separating them allowed for some privacy. We camped at Sturgeon Valley...

Tip for Other Campers:
NOT Big Rig friendly - 1.75 miles on washboard gravel road. When you pull in, stay straight, do not turn. Park your rig asap and walk to office. The further you go into this campground, the more trouble you'll incur.

Mackinac Bridge/City/Island is only 1/2 hour away - Great day trip! Drive down the dirt road to the East and there is an Elk viewing station. Lots of cool things to see!

Thought this was a nice camp ground. Well apparently it is more of a farm and junkyard with campers thrown in. There are rabbit and chicken free ranging everywhere. I was there for four day, the trash...

Very friendly. Stayed one night. Passport America rate. We enjoyed our stay and the people there. Nice pond and river trail. Would stay again. We camped at Sturgeon Valley Campground in a Motorhome.
