Tip for Other Campers:
The closest town is Baudette. The Walleye Capital of the world. Dont miss a selfie with Willy The Walleye. The town is about 12 miles from the campground so make sure you get provisions. Go fishing!
Tips from campers about Wigwam Resort
- Steve N Carol Sooooo much to do!!! Hunt Brothers !!!! FRITTERS, FRITTERS, FRITTERS!!!!!! If you love baked goods, this is the place!!! Also very good lunch (Frisco Burger and fries). Leinenflugar Brewery is a MUST as well! Superbly maintained older historical site. We drove 50 R/T miles to Darwin to visit the "Largest Ball of Twine in the World." The docent at the museum is superb and gave us a GREAT tour of the old railroad station and the facts surrounding the twine ball. A TRUE piece of Americana.....
