Tip: If you have a large rig, you might want to consider pulling into your slot and then walking up to the lodge to officially check in. There is a large circular gravel parking lodge in front of the lodge, but we were advised not to attempt it and to back down the one way road coming in. Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Grand Marias and the lighthouse there. Had wonderful fish & chips, cheese curds, and fried white fish at Fisherman's Daughter. Also purchased excellent clam chowder at the CoOP. Had a great time renting a pontoon boat and exploring the lake.

- X-Medic73 North Bay is the home of Canada's shamefull treatment / now museum to the Dion Quintuplettes (spelling?). Back in the 20-30's the children were seized by the Provincial Gov and PUT ON DISPLAY like a zoo. North Bay is an old city with tight / small access in the downtown area, my suggectionis if visiting stay out of town and drive into town in your tow / toad etc.7 years ago Franklin Motor Hotel and Campground

Very nice camp ground. Cell phone and wifi dont work. Wifi is only at the office. We camped at Golden Eagle Lodge in a Motorhome.
