“Wonderful shade trees, peaceful yet less than 30 minutes from the big city.”

Tip for Other Campers:
Minnesota Candy Store is a must, but just 2 miles south there is Wagner's Apple Orchard. Fresh, baked daily, pies, Strudel, and cookies as well as honey. Be sure to check out the Plexiglas bee hive back by the ATM.

Tip for Other Campers:
If you plan to do any hiking/walking of the MN Valley State Recreation Area Hiking Trail, check the map first. A three mile walk turned into a six mile hike. We went left instead of right.
