Tips from campers about Voyageurs Sunrise Resort
- winnie1 There is a Dollar General in Gardner about 9 miles west of the campground. Across the street from there is a truck stop, hardware store and pharmacy. Walmart is about 17 miles east towards Alexandria.5 years ago Kincaid Recreation Area
- JSRFrench This is camping in a National Forest with an attached lake. There is a very good boat launch within 1 mile. During the swimming season April to September - there is a beach area with picnic tables, permanent barbecues & a public restroom facility. Rent a boat or take a tour to make the most of your time at Voyageur's National Park. Visit Hoist Bay! You can tour the old buildings - just bring bug spray.

Owner Craig goes above and beyond to help guests. Just a few transient sites but a neat local vibe right on Lake Kabetogama. We camped at Voyageurs Sunrise Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
This is a great place to visit Voyageurs National Park from. We liked the boat trips from the rangers and hiking in the parks.
