Drive through the bison range and flowers on their prairie for a chance to see the magnificent herd. Continue the drive to park and hike to see the historic mill with a view.
Tips from campers about Minneopa Minnesota State Park
- brendajoro Go to the falls and bison areas. This campground is in a fairly large college town. You can find everything you need here. Potable water NOT at dump station. Was a lovely waterfall. We love seeing them. It was an easy hike to the falls and some nice benches to sit and enjoy. We visited Minneopa Minnesota State Park, no overnight stay.

“Buffaloes!!”
Nightly Rate: $23 USD
Near beautiful falls (when theres water running ) nice walking trails around Buffalo pen. Only complaint not many electric sites. We camped at Minneopa Minnesota State Park in a Travel Trailer.
