Tip for Other Campers:
Park Rapids and Itasca State Park (where Mississippi River starts) are just north. Detroit Lakes is about an hour west and Bemidji is about 90 min north. Menahga is a beautiful small town. My husband loved walking to town for coffee and a pastry and then walking over to Spirit Lake to enjoy both. He also loved the Cotty for meals.
Booking was on line, on arrival you self check in. No gate keeper, look for your site. The paperwork is stuck onto the pole marking the site number. If you arrive without a reservation, find any site...
