Tip for Other Campers:
Check out the Loco's Bar and Grill about 5 miles down the road. Great food and huge portions!

Tip for Other Campers:
Not much in the way of restaurants. Lake Itasca State Park has a small cafe with coffee, breakfast burrito, pastries, sandwiches & ice cream. Next restaurant was in Shelvin, 20 miles away.
Lots of hiking & biking.

- Lizette D Close to bike path. Nice way to see the entire park at a leisurely pace.1 month ago Upper Pines Campground
- Paul and Jennifer Degnans in town is a good fast eating establishment in the village. It is open 8-6 with a 30 minute break at 1100. Showers cost 5 bucks over at Curry. Generators are only allowed on these sites from 0700-0900, 1200-1400 and 1700-1900. We have an all electric coach, so it gets cold at night in the coach.5 months ago Upper Pines Campground

“Mosquitoes ”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
The pull thru site 72 was long but awkward to get into and power and water are a long way from the RV. The Gravel / grass site was fairly level. The other campers were not too close. Quiet at night....

Go walk across the Mississippi then eat at the Douglas Lodge. Good service and Great food!
