“Upper campground”

Very quiet. Well maintained. We were in a pull through with full hookups. Plenty of room for our truck and 30 ft. Travel Trailer. Spacious "yard" with a firepit. We camped at Lac qui Parle State Park...

Plan ahead for gas and food. There is nothing close by. Montevideo is about 20 minutes away.

Tip for Other Campers:
Be prepared for mosquitoes in summer of course. Not much in way of fuel or groceries nearby, need to head to Montevideo south of park. Very nice craft brewery, Talking Waters, in Montevideo. Trails in the upper campground area of park are basically mowed paths through the fields. Nice Hiking Club trail in lower area of the state park.
