- ETB The closest restaurant is the Lode Star Casino in Fort Thompson, about 3 miles from the campground. Lynn's Dakotamart is the closest market which is also in Fort Thompson. The Post Office in Fort Thompson does accept General Delivery. If you need something shipped General Delivery, besides USPS, United Parcel Service (UPS) is the only major delivery company that will delivery to the Post Office. Tip for Other Campers:
The historical town of Arrowrock is only a short walk from the campground. We were there over Memorial Day and all the shops were closed except the Badgerhole Ice Cream store. It was Owens by a young couple and served the best homemade ice cream. It is a must stop....
