We enjoyed our stay here. Quiet area right next to the lake. A good getaway after doing the Branson shows! We camped at Cooper Creek Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

- consmith Athens is a beautiful town and lots of good restaurants. Many roads to ride around and see the country. It was neat to ride downtown.4 years ago Lake Snowden
- Ol JB Athens offers plenty of shopping. We drove around and looked at campus. Interesting downtown area that is worth walking around. Ate lunch at O'Betty's Red Hot. Very good hot dogs with some interesting and excellent combinations of toppings. Small hot dog "museum". We happened to be there when the owner was working. We didn't eat till 2:30 PM, so he had time to talk to us, and show us around the "museum".7 years ago Lake Snowden

Tip for Other Campers:
Watch A Christmas Story show at Site and Sound, take the golf cart tour at Top of the Rock Lost Canyon Cave and hike in Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. We drove 30 minutes to Lamberts Cafe for a delicious lunch and enjoyed a dinner at Paula Deens located in Branson Landing.
