Tips from campers about Hermann, MO
- FrancisandRenee Walk a mile across highway 5 into commercial area with plenty of taco trucks etc. Starbucks on the main strip. Even a mall if you need. Just walk down H street to Broadway. La Jolla seals and sea lions half an hour north above SD. Take your kayak or rent one at the La Jolla Shores Beach park and paddle over to the caves. Mexico just south. Drive around to the other side of the bay area to Coronado and back across the bridge. Kayak all around. Costco near by. Farmers market in Little Italy on sat was one of the best - large and diverse... Smaller market in Chula Vista in the hills by a huge mall. East Lake market. Good food but not much farm. Their replacement rv resort is very nice and large sites with loads of stuff but not on the water and the landscaping is not mature but i would go their when this one closes.4 years ago Chula Vista RV Resort
- Liberty4Four Definitely be sure to bring bikes or scooters if you have kids. Also, if you choose a water view site, be aware that the road outside of the fence gets a lot of activity and can be noisy on the weekend.4 years ago Chula Vista RV Resort
- offtohavasu El Sabor De La Baja is a restaurant close by and has fantastic food! My wife ordered the ceviche and I had the surf and turf burrito...both outstanding. And their margaritas are awesome!4 years ago Chula Vista RV Resort
