“Easy Branson access”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
Great base camp for Branson area. Our site 53 faced the lake to the west and was in full sun
most of the day. We camped at Mill Creek in a Travel Trailer.

There is a nice grocery store just across the bridge in Kimberling City along with several casual and one not-so-casual restaurants....
Tips from campers about Mill Creek
- lthrasher Wal-Mart(s), Publix, Winn-Dixie, and various local groceries within a 10 minute drive. For Motorhome I'd plan to fuel anywhere else before/after arrival in Dade County. Open Roads locations shown close (RaceTrac) were not really a great in and out, checked them out in Jeep after arrival. Right at an hour to get out to Key Biscayne across bridge. Highly recommend. Great parks with beaches. Hobie Island has awesome street food truck vendors in parking lots. About an hour to get to Key Largo over US 1 mostly one lane bridge. Explored Keys in Jeep, not motorhome. In spots, mosquitos are a thing - look for 40% Deet and you'll be OK. "Wearables" like the coil bracelets are 100% useless regardless of strength. If you're going to be in a heavy mosquito area, spray and maybe some wipes all that will work, they are trained to find that one spot of exposed untreated skin. In the campground itself, ants (as I would expect) were a presence but some spray around the perimeter did a good job at keeping that to a minimum after we thought to do that. Local drivers are 100% insane, so watch that. "Merge" means do the best to out run, out maneuver, act stupid, and do their best to take off your bumpers. Lines on the road designating travel lanes are merely a suggestion, they'll "put it where it'll fit" at any given moment, regardless of traffic volume. There's ZERO respect for motorhome size, weight, etc. I've travelled probably 45 of the 50 biggest cities in this country and I just thought Boston, LA, and New York drivers were bad until I drove for two weeks around Miami. They are hands down the Worst, most disrespectful, and belligerent people behind the wheel you can imagine - especially taking every opportunity to immediately blare their horns each time a red light turns green, just in case the person in the front of the line just happens to be looking away at the change. So be prepared for all that. Stay Calm, Trust Jesus, and just Chill when driving.

Tip for Other Campers:
Book early and set alerts if youre flexible. The park was hard to get into even booking months in advance, but I got alerts and had multiple opportunities to book and change sites, add days etc....

Question:
I’m looking for info on the route to park. We use RV Safe GPS, but still concerned about Hwys 160 & 13 from 65 to the park. We’ll be in a 34’ MH pulling a toad. I’m also seeing MODOT news of construction. Has anyone traveled this lately? I’d appreciate input. Thanks!...
